Relax, unwind, reduce aches, pains, tension & anxiety. Escape the pull of gravity and life stresses. Cortisol levels return to normal levels after just one hour of floating. Total service time is ~90 mins for 60 min float & ~2 hours for 90 min float which includes pre-float and post-float shower time and full 60 or 90 minutes IN the tank.

 

YOU are in control of the light and the sound in the float tank, so you can have the comfort of having the light and music on, or you can go more sensory-deprivation with both turned off at the push of a button

If it's your first time floating, we want to make sure you have the best experience possible! At Serenity Now Float Spa, we provide the ideal place for a truly stress-free and peaceful atmosphere. A member of our welcoming and knowledgeable team will take you through your first floatation journey with complete clarity. Before your 60-minute session, we will walk you through the tank and its features, answering any queries you have along the way. With more understanding of what to expect, it will be simpler to switch off and enjoy the regenerative effects of the float session.

Float therapy—also known as sensory deprivation—involves lying effortlessly in a soundproof, light-free tank filled with warm water and Epsom salt. This creates a zero-gravity, distraction-free environment that promotes deep relaxation and mental clarity.

Our spacious cabin-style tanks feature 7-foot ceilings and bright white interiors, creating an open, calming environment. Customize your experience with your choice of lighting and soothing sounds.

Each private suite includes its own shower and dressing area, giving you the space to fully unwind. Step in, float freely, and leave feeling refreshed, restored, and deeply relaxed.

What to Expect

We recommend avoiding caffeine, heavy meals, and shaving or waxing right before your session. You may want to remove contact lenses. Most importantly, arrive with an open mind and a calm spirit.

You'll Shower thoroughly right inside the private room before floating to remove any lotions, oils or makeup.  â€‹

​

Our tanks are filled with 11 inches of warm, highly salted water, allowing you to float effortlessly. We maintain the highest hygiene standards.

​

While float therapy is generally safe, we suggest consulting your healthcare provider if you have any medical concerns.

Muscle and Joint Relaxation

Epsom salts, which are primarily composed of magnesium sulfate, have long been recognized for their muscle-relaxing properties. When dissolved in the water of a floating chamber, Epsom salts release magnesium ions that can be absorbed through the skin. These ions help to relax muscles and alleviate tension, making it an ideal addition to floating therapy. 

Relieve Back Pain

Float therapy can significantly reduce back pain by allowing the spine and muscles to fully relax in a zero-gravity environment. The buoyancy of the Epsom salt-saturated water takes pressure off compressed joints and tight muscles, especially in the lower back, promoting better alignment and relieving tension. This deep physical relaxation can also improve blood flow, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery from chronic or acute pain. Additionally, the magnesium in the water may help ease muscle cramps and reduce pain sensitivity. The sensory-deprivation environment, combined with the deep relaxation induced by floating, facilitates a more restful and rejuvenating sleep experience. Floating helps regulate the sleep-wake cycle by promoting the production of melatonin, the hormone responsible for regulating sleep.

Though not a cure, many people report fewer and less intense migraines with regular sessions (including our manager Nancy!).

Epsom salts aid in the detoxification process during floating therapy. The magnesium in Epsom salts helps to draw out toxins from the body through the skin.
